First we have to download mIRC... Click on the following link :

Search the folder where you like to install mIRC. I picked Program files.

Full Name : Put your real name here

Nickname : Put your ingame nickname here
Alternative : Put your ingame nickname here

When you did this then you click on Servers

A screen with a few mIRC servers show up.
Click on Add

With :

Description : Put TmX mIRC over here.
IRC Server : Put irc.desertelites.com over here.

When you did this then you click on Add

Select TmX mIRC in the IRC Servers list.
Double click on TmX mIRC

The connect screen shows up again.
Click on Connect

You connect to the server it will take 5 - 10 seconds.
Then a few screens show up.

When the screen shows up with "Enter a channel to join"
Type #TmX
Click on Join

Congratulations you joined our main channel #TmX !!
The nickname list on the right >> are the people who are in the channel.

Now you only have to registrate your nickname !.

Click on Desert-Elites-IRC

Type /ns register (CHOOZE A PASSWORD) (YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS)

When you exit mIRC and you want to start it up again.
Every time when you join this mIRC server.
identify yourself with :

/ns id (PASSWORD)

Like :
/ns id blabla12

Congratulations you are logged in on your own registrated nickname.



Some usefull normal mIRC commands.

/nick (new nickname) To change your nickname to antoher nickname.
/join (#channel) To join another channel.
/list To see a all the #channels on the mIRC server.

And for all the other mIRC commands type /help

Some usefull #channel commands.

!msg (message) To talk with the people who are playing in the server.
!pl To see the players who are playing in the server.

and for all the other commands on a #channel type !help
